We&#039;ve been slowly but surely making our way through these kinds of green tips-- and a few years back it really did make a difference when our family started using the library for all books AS WELL AS magazines.  When we&#039;re going on a vacation, we take out several magazines to take to the beach, etc.

We&#039;ve also become &quot;unpluggers.&quot; I was not raised that way-- but now, if the microwave or toaster or whatever are not in use, they&#039;re not plugged in.  It&#039;s really no inconvenience for us and we&#039;ve seen our choices reflected in our electricity bill...thank goodness!
