My favorite thing about the Word of the Month is how every month offers me a challenge, if I’m willing to be honest. This time “open-mindedness” got me in the first week! I was talking to my 7&8 year-olds, and the question came up, “What food do you want to try that you haven’t tried?” One of the kids said, “Fried bugs.” I stuck my tongue out, made a face, and said, “gross” before I realized what I was doing. LOL My ah-ha moment came when I said, “I guess that wasn’t very open-minded of me, was it?”
