OK you guys act like you have to put that on your children. I mean at least all thier body parts are covered. Im so sure everyone has got shorts from the walmart or the kmart for you kids and those dont even cover as much. Its all about parental discresion and NO my kids wouldn’t be walking around in the heels and such but they do have the dereon outfits.

You may recall we spoke via email a few weeks back and discussed exchanging blog posts from time to time – I am an Australian blogger and CEO of a company that works with girls in schools on positive self esteem / body image programs. The idea that Tina and Beyonce Knowles find these ads to be acceptable is disgusting and worrisome. I have 2 girls (5 & 9) and if either of my girls EVER thought they should dress like this I would probably shoot myself since I would be an obvious failure as a parent. The true, very sick thing about this is that there are parents out there that will by these disgusting “Hooker Clothes” for their little girls. I read somewhere that a mother would allow their daughter, at 14, to where clothes like these. I am telling you, it will be over my dead, lifeless body, that my girls will ever dress in this way. I used to think Beyonce had some class … obviously, and painfully so, she has absolutely no class whatsoever! These ads should be the invstigated as child abuse to the children that appear in them … completely gross!
