My husband and I adopted our daughter when she was 1 week old. She is now turning 2 years old and her arrival into our family was 2 days before my birthday and all I could think about was "what a great birthday gift". Your blog hit it right on and described exactly what I have been feeling and how incredible it is to love this little person. Thank you! I so appreciate this and your reflection made me cry.
